This week, since I’m traveling, I didn’t have a chance to put together a newsletter. But, since traveling involves a lot of waiting around, I did have a lot of time to reflect. I’m incredibly fortunate. Every week I get to write about food as politics, food as culture, and sometimes food as art. Right now, for millions of our fellow Americans in Puerto Rico, food is terror. Will they get some today? Will they find more by the time their supplies run out? Is this safe to eat?
